I missed my flight, but I think it was God's way of starting my journey off on the right foot. Instead of having to fly to Toronto (an hour in the wrong direction) I got a direct flight to San Fransisco. It also left me with a 6 hour lay over. I was able to get out in the city and visited SFMOMA. My favorite exhibit was Lunch Break by Shanon Lockhart.

The Fire and Fragrance DTS is going to be awesome. Thank you for giving to me, I'm already expecting this 6 months to dramatically mark my life. The more I discover how great Jesus is, the more excited I am to seek and obey him with all I've got. And this is just the place to do it! I'm really impressed with the staff and students.

I'm rooming with two guys from the states, three Koreans, a Chinese kids and a Norwegian. God is already starting to show me how cool the nations are, something I'd been reluctant to embrace because I was scared God would send me there. But I forgot that God is good and would only send me places that would give me joy. So he's dealing with stuff already. Pretty cool.

I came across these photographs on Friday on Behance.net. I love renaissance era paintings, the strong colors, shadows and light really stir me up. These photographs inspired me to take another crack at the photos of Sarah I shot several months ago. I'd like to continue to explore this type of photography.

I've had these photos for several months. But I couldn't produce the images I wanted. I recently found a way to make the tones feel like home, comfortable and inviting. Just what I was looking for!

I came across the portfolio of Joseph O. Holmes today. Really liked his stuff. Two particular sets exhibits my favorite type of photography. The photographs pull you in to the moment. They're intimate, candid and take you into a private space.
