Biology

DNA Replication
Everything in your body is either a cell or something a cell made like bones and cartilage. There are billions if not trillions of cells in your body and every single cell has a nucleus that holds all your DNA. DNA is the code that makes the proteins that makes your hair brown, your eyes blue and everything else that makes you unique.

But in the beginning, in your mother's womb, you started as one cell. But now you're trillions of cells! That happens because your cells replicate themselves and a very important part of that process is copying your DNA.

This movie shows what's happening all throughout your body, even now! There are proteins working together to copy, without making any mistakes, all 3 billion base pairs of DNA. The amazing part is, proteins don't know what their doing. Everything works based on chemical charges like magnets....kind of.
Inside a Cell
This video shows all the complex workings of a cell. Think about it, all the cells in your body never stop working, right now all this stuff you see is going on in every single cell in your body!
Scale
This should help you figure out what kind of sizes we're working with here. I love to think about how God makes everything work on such a small scale. Our enormous sun exists only because tiny atoms smash together with explosive force.

Astronomy

Huge Universe
The scale of the universe blows my mind. I think about it sometimes until I can't take it anymore, until I feel like I'm just going to explode with awe. These videos help me remember how small I am.
Huge Universe 2.0
it's so big I thought it was worth a second look.

Physics

You've Heard This Before
This is a famous experiment that proved that light is both a wave and a particle. You've heard that said before right? Here's how they prove it. And no it's not supposed to make sense, it's just the way it is.
How Many Dimensions Are There?
If you can understand the difference between a 2D world and a 3D world, then as the theory goes, you'll be able to more clearly grasp the 4th and 5th and 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th dimensions. Well that's the theory anyway.
Science is Beautiful
This kind of explains itself.
