The Poverty Summit Booklet
This was a project that initially went above and beyond concept. This year we hosted our first public Poverty Summit. In the past, the event was hosted by our Partnership Developers and attended by staff and a few major donors.
I was approached to create a booklet that outlined each of our partnerships--it was to be printed in-house and spiral bound--nothing too fancy. However, knowing we had a chance to impress a large audience I wanted to do something special. I laid out a few pages and brought them to the leadership team. They were enthusiastic with the direction I had taken it and gave me the go ahead to start a full scale project.
It was a big undertaking that I worked on for over a month but I was very happy with the results. It felt great to see the Poverty Summit attendees flipping through the pages. I knew they were getting our best information and the booklet would help them understand the mission and vision or Bright Hope.
